I am in favor of high-speed rail. Traffic was congested and difficult in Tampa back in the mid-1980s when I moved back to Florida from Dallas, Texas. Mass transit was needed back then as far as I am concerned and it is about time something is done---it is long over-due. Otherwise, Florida will really be behind the times in relation to other metropolitan areas of the country and businesses and people will not want to be here.
